As such watching the mom bruhaha just gets me going. I am tired of the one sided views presented by the media an propagated on shows such as Oprah. Black moms do count and have a very unique perspective, at the end of the day they are moms too. I love that First Lady Obama chose to me a mom-in-chief, heavens knows that is what she needs to be doing for her children. I don't even see what the issue here is, funny how we are expected to further the cause of women, but when push comes to shove race will always be the defining factor! Again on the lack of representation, I found while researching health experts for black women, because I truly believe that some of the problems I am going to face health wise are just not discussed enough nor do we have credible experts who can lead us through this mire.
